MR46 is an enterprise wireless network router for indoor use. I was the lead PD engineer for this project. I was responsible for the product satisfying the PRD, the mechanical design, design for manufacturing, testing verification, and mechanical program management of this access point.
Accomplishments
-Thermal management of overheating components and enclosure hot touch points
-Ensured tight clearances, cosmetic gaps, and cosmetic steps
-Improved injection molded plastic cosmetic issues, such as warpage, flash, and sink marks
