During my 8 month internship, I contributed to the development of Apple's future watch products, and worked on an exploratory proof of concept project.
Accomplishments
-Early field failure analysis of shipping watches to communicate learnings for future product development
-Designed and prototyped proof of concept input interface which increased available internal volume by 20%
-Designed test fixtures to validate microphone water seal design, mocking up features at MMC and LMC to assure sealing at edges of tolerance bands
-Completed root cause failure analysis using microscopy to document and present findings
-Designed watch surfaces for prototyping using NX surfacing
-Performed CAD studies for potential cost reduction and space savings
