I’m Philip, a mechanical design engineer living and working in Seattle, Washington. I enjoy solving tough problems through organized experimentation that’s grounded in engineering fundamentals and creative brainstorming sessions. I believe in making things that enrich people’s lives and help society and the environment. With an action-oriented growth mindset, I’m quick to try new things and learn from setbacks. As the youngest of 6 children, and the son of a Spanish immigrant, I care deeply about the inclusion of others, and listening with curiosity and empathy to the diverse stories folks have to share.
Currently, I’m at Meta building the future of Augmented Reality devices. Previously, I worked at Cisco Meraki, and interned at Apple, HP, and Boeing.
When I’m not building things, I enjoy biking, running, swimming, yoga, playing guitar, hiking, and traveling--these are all the better when shared with my family, friends, and fiancée.
