As the lead PD engineer on a not-yet-released security camera, I'm responsible for the product satisfying the PRD, the mechanical design, design for manufacturing, testing verification, and mechanical program management of this camera. Accomplishments
-Developed top-down design of ~20 unique mechanical parts and PCBAs, as well as designed in detail the plastic, silicone, die cast, and sheet metal parts
-Designed for visible and infrared light internal reflections
-Designed multiple water seals for IP67
-Designed product for IK10 impact resistance
-Designed cosmetic die cast parts for manufacturability, such as draft, rounds, and gate location
-Reduced temperature of image sensor by 5 C by increasing the conducting surface area and cross-sectional area
-Increased top port microphone performance by increasing gasket interference and aperture size
-Reduced EMI and desense by adding conductive sponges to increase grounding
-Improved weld line on cosmetic black plastic part

-Iterated silicone lens hood to reduce infrared and visible light reflections
